Chlorochlamys
This is a Chlorochlamys sp - both Chlorochlamys appellaria and Chlorochlamys triangularis have forms with dark gray shading or speckling along the pm am lines, often on a ground color that is pale instead of green - and both occur in southern California. They can be hard to distinguish without genitalic characters. I think you can be confident it is one of those two, but I'm not able to make a definitive determination for this moth at that locality without genitalic characters. Chlorochlamys sp.
Since the AM line is missing from the hind-wing, this must be a weakly marked example of one of your others, in the genus Chlorochlamys. I'm not experienced enough yet, to tell you the species, sorry! (orange costa & face)
