The head just didn't look braconid-like, but your new image of the wing suggests it really is Braconidae after all.

Thanks for taking another look at this and thanks for all the other ID help. I botched a couple of my recent image submissions but I think I finally got the wing venations in my head so I at least have a shot of getting the family.
