Robber Fly - Diogmites angustipennis

Robber Fly - Diogmites angustipennis
San Antonio area, Bexar County, Texas, USA
September 12, 2006
I believe this one to be in this species . . . someone correct me if I'm wrong please.

Moved
Moved from Hanging-thieves.

Moved

Diogmites
In Texas there is a second lookalike species which has yet to be named. It has been hidden in D. angustipennis for awhile and the other species D. symmachus can be confused as well. This trio will be straightned out in some upcoming publications.

Interesting
I didn't realize that. So what would be your suggestion for this image . . . leave it here for now or move it up a level to the Hanging-thieves (Diogmites) guide page?

Thanks for the feedback.

Diogmites
Move these to Diogmites level and we will sort them out later if it is possible. It may be in females.

Will do . . .
Thanks again for the help.
