ID for another robber fly? - Stenopogon californiae - Female
Claremont, Los Angeles County, California, USA
June 4, 2013
This robber fly was spotted on California Buckwheat (Eriogonum fasciculatum var. foliolosum) in an area of mixed grass and coastal sage scrub at the Claremont Colleges' Bernard Field Station. It was in the same area as this one about an hour later. Any information about its identity will be greatly appreciated!
