What a beautiful jumper! I couldn't let is pass so . . .
I spent some time with Edwards, 2004 and the Peckhams, 1909. This is likely Phidippus tyrrelli. The descriptions in both seem to match the photograph and Edwards gives nearly a dozen records for Colorado.

Just thinking out loud
My first thought was a Phidippus adumbratus, but I don't see any listing for Colorado. Maybe something along the Phidippus Genus?

 
My second choice
P adumbratus was my second match, specially reading that is found in alpine regions. Thank you Bill.
