We continued on US 60 through Magdalena to Datil, and then south on NM 12. We stopped at the continental divide to photograph some wildflowers and these guys too.

Promus?
Can't see any of the characters (pronotal angles, prosternum, etc) but overall it sure looks like E. subnitens - but the NM populations might prove to be something else. This could also be something else, like an oddly formed E. longicollis.

Moved
Moved from Beetles.

Eleodes sp.
