That looks good. Since there are only 2 species in NA it is probably Pyrgota maculipennis.

Sphecomyiella
is a possibility as well.

 
I agree
...though Pyrota maculipennis and Sphecomyiella can be hard to tell apart (and I think some of the BG posts currently under P. maculipennis name may belong under Sphecomyiella.)

In this case the AZ location makes Sphecomyiella nelsoni the most likely ID.
