Trying to be nonchalant in my Western Hemlock. An ID would be cool.

(I just love jumpers, by the way)

I think it is Evarcha...I just don't know for sure if it's E. hoyi or E. falcata...Please advise.

Thanks!

Evarcha falcata or hoyi male
There is a photo of Evarcha falcata that has the same markings as mine http://salticidae.org/salticid/diagnost/ph-nieuw/eva-nieu.htm

I found this site by accessing salticidae.org and going to the List of Species for North American Jumping Spiders.

I also have found a study done by the US Forest Service called "A Key to Arboreal Spiders of Douglas-fir and True Fir Forests of the Pacific of the Pacific Northwest" by Andrew R. Moldenke, Becky L. Fichter, William P. Stephen, and Charles E. Griswold
General Technical Report PNW-GTR-207
This publication has a key as well as some photographs, one of which match a subadult male Evarcha hoyi.
Please let me know if I'm totally off. Or (I hope) confirm this to species.

This thumb looks like mine, also
Thanks
