Microstylum morosum range
Does anyone know the range of this Microstylum? In addition to one seen by Troy Mullens at the Ft. Worth Nature Center & Refuge, I have seen it in the gardens of the Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT) in Fort Worth and along the Trinity River floodplain in west Fort Worth. I had not previously seen this species in Texas. Troy's does not look exactly like the ones I have seen. Could this be the other Microstylum species?

Bob,i have seen and photogr
Bob,
I have seen and photographed this species in SW Arkansas once and we see it regularly at Hornsby Bend here in Austin and in Gonzales, Texas. Several of my shots are in the BG photo gallery for the species and I'll add a few more soon. I believe it is known from OK, TX, and AR but not sure of other locations. Yours looks fine for this species in my opinion.. Check out M. galactodes for another impressive member of the genus which we have had down in this area a few times. As far as I know those are the only members of the genus in the U.S. There are a couple of others in the genus in other parts of the world I believe such as Madagascar, and maybe Formosa.
