Dogwood spittlebug? - Clastoptera saintcyri

Dogwood spittlebug? - Clastoptera saintcyri
Larose Forest, United Counties of Prescott-Russell, Ontario, Canada
July 30, 2013
There were a couple of these very small spittlebugs on a shrub alongside a forest trail. I thought they were dogwood spittlebugs but I've not seen this colour before and the pattern is slightly different. Thanks for any help.

Clastoptera saintcyri
This is the reddest specimen I have ever seen. May I add it to my collection of 2,500+ Homoptera-Auchenorrhyncha for research purposes?
