Empdidae ?

Bug Springs pullout, on Mount Lemmon, Pima County, Arizona, USA

Bug Springs sounded like a promising stop en route to the flight home.
This smidgen of nectar was a magnet for these four.
Does anyone recognize the flower?

Was it a small flower on a big plant?

Looks like a Scrophularia? Maybe this one

Scrophularia (Pineland Figwort) check list:

"Mountain, Riparian. This plant is usually found at higher elevations"
Yes, growing on stream bank at ~5000' in pine forest.
And the height, season and description are a good match.

I "second" that...

...or I guess I "third" it. Plant is likely Scrophularia parviflora. Another species, S. montana, is shown on the SEINET web site as having records in the general area, but its flowers appear much more yellow in the photos here. Members of this genus are also known as "bee plant". I guess the bees here a fly mimics :-)
