What a remarkable coincidence that all three species present decided to land in such a photographic pose !!!

Great to see
I missed the convocation of this trio that night.

The only US species missing here is C. woodi, which occurs in Texas and feeds on walnut. There's a great article by Art Evans on all four species...their historical sequence of discovery and natural history. Good reading.

yes...that is one place to find all three!
To do so you need juniper (gloriosa), oak (beyeri), and Ponderosa pins (lecontei).
