Triplax marcescens
Dulled elytra, from Arizona, this is Triplax marcescens Boyle, in the macra species group. Another 'rare' erotylid form southern Arizona. I'm sure these are all more common, we just need to learn the host fungus. A very good find.

Live in the Anza Ca region. Occasionally find these. The only fungus I've found are puffballs.
