If you are cetain of the identification, the photos are of decent quality, and there aren't a million of them allready posted (particularly if from the same area), it is certainly fine to post directly under the species. If you are unsure, it is better to post under ID Request or another higher category to which they belong, in order to be sure.

To move them, if you haven't figured this out yet, just log in, go to the image you want to move, and "tag" it. Then go to the species you want to move it to under the category "Images", and click on "move tagged images".

To post directly to a species, it is the same as posting to ID Request, you just start from the species page instead.

By the way, this one is indeed correct. Close-ups such as this, that are clear, and aid in identification are useful additions.
