Resembles other Macrosiagon in the guide, but note bright orange antennae, and extent of yellow down wings.

I was expecting M. flavipennis here!
I thought I could see the intimation of a semi-erect, excavated process near the posterior tip of the pronotum. And the (mostly) yellow elytra, yellowish-hyaline wings, and orange male antennae seemed to fit well with Rivnay's description of male
flavipenne
, and agree fairly well with the image below:
But Vaurie
(
1
)
states that in
pectinata
, the median lobe of the pronotum can be somewhat excavated...which I may have been misinterpreting as solely a
flavipennis/fernalda
indicator. Also, the vertex doesn't seem as "tall" as in typical
flavipennis
, and the frons looks convex (a la
pectinata
) rather than concave (a la
flavipennis
). And the tips of the elytra are black.
(As has been said before...these ripiphorids can be difficult!!!)
