This species is currently placed in Nocloa, but does not belong there. It requires a new genus according to Robert Poole. (1)

Lafontaine & Schmidt (2010) listed nine species of the genus Nocloa in America north of Mexico. (2)
Size
Barnes (1905) reported a wingspan of 30 mm.
Identification
Range
Poole reports Nocloa aliaga is known from southeastern and south-central Arizona, and northern Mexico. (1)
Season
Poole reports he has collected adults in July and August. (1)
Food
Poole reports the larval host plant and immature stages are unknown. (1)
