Tiger Swallowtail - Eastern or Canadian? - Papilio glaucus - Male

July 20, 2013
This is a Tiger Swallowtail; I'm not sure whether it's an Eastern Tiger or a Canadian Tiger.

Eastern Tiger
Nice shots. The below pics show the difference clearly. The Eastern Tiger has on the forewing below a broken yellow marginal band and on the hindwing below the black strip nearest the body is narrower.

Easter Tiger
Many thanks for pointing out that difference for me. This individual seemed to positively enjoy being photographed! It stayed within camera range for quite some time.
