This is a Tiger Swallowtail; I'm not sure whether it's an Eastern Tiger or a Canadian Tiger.

Eastern Tiger
Nice shots. The below pics show the difference clearly. The Eastern Tiger has on the forewing below a broken yellow marginal band and on the hindwing below the black strip nearest the body is narrower.

Many thanks for pointing out that difference for me. This individual seemed to positively enjoy being photographed! It stayed within camera range for quite some time.
