Where in Montgomery did you find this specimen? I've never seen on in my area even though I've lived in Montgomery for 5 years!

Excellent, now I can see the difference if I compare to others pictures! The shape of the abdomen is it the key to Cyclocosmia?

Trapdoor spider
I agree with Ummidia (perhaps an undescribed species as this genus is not well studied), and there is actually a scientist at Auburn (Jason Bond) who works on these and I'm sure would love to have this alive if you caught it.

Maybe
Ctenizidae - Cork-lid trapdoor spiders. Ummidia?
