Added to Lytta for ID help
I had originally placed this in Lytta nutalli, but will place it here awaiting more authoritative identification.

how was the ID obtained? if correct, then this exemplar shows clearly that the Sierra Nevada population differs conspicuously indeed

The tentative ID is from
the
Law's Guide to the Sierra Nevada
, admittedly a non-comprehensive guide (especially for insects), but the general description seemed to fit.

thanks for clarifying
suggest including information about ID provenance in the Remarks: this is a very tough group, so we tend not to place images on species pages unless an expert ID/confirmation has been obtained (our expert, Dr Pinto, is currently unavailable), or the case is otherwise straightforward. Field guide-based ID is certainly not rigorous enough.
not that i'm in a position to 'overrule' or even challenge your call, but please run the beetle[s] thru the keys/descriptions in

to be on the safe side.
and, again, thanks for posting the photos!
