Can you explain why not Hippodamia?
I'm having a hard time telling the difference! These two species occur together here in Santa Cruz, CA so I can't really go on the fact of an adult of either species being present. It is almost to the point that you can say where you see an adult C7, and adult H.convergens is almost certainly not far behind.

I can't imagine it would be easy to raise them, but I don't know how else one would know!
