Thank you Lynette. This spider was in a different area than last year, but I am still trying to figure out the specific identification marks for this and other orb weavers.
Would this be a gravid female?

 
Female yes &
it might be gravid. This one is pretty easy to ID based on the whitish abdomen and the dark banded legs. There aren't many others that look like it. They are a very pretty spider.
