Another bug tourist question: Are they fast?
Since Tom, Brad, and Diane have seen these in the wild probably I was wondering if these elliptical barklice are faster runners than the average barklice? Anything I have seen this shape has run really quickly, leaving me wondering what I saw!

you set the standards in psocid photography. Wish I knew how you managed to get the entire creature in focus. I covet.

The pictures come out a lot nicer when I use the 65mm macro lens rather than the 100mm macro. This was taken at almost 5x magnification and using the Canon twin head ring flash. Here's the picture on my Pbase site and you can see the settings I use.
