Question Mark - Polygonia interrogationis

Question Mark - Polygonia interrogationis
Statesville, Iredell County, North Carolina, USA
September 8, 2006
I am pretty sure this is a Question Mark (Polygonia interrogationis) rather than an Eastern Comma (Polygonia comma), but I'm not the best identifier. To my eyes, this specimen has the identifying 'question mark', though it is hard to see due to the sun backlighting the wings.
