Lafontaine & Schmidt (2010) included two species of the genus Mesapamea in America north of Mexico. (1)

Barnes & McDunnough (1912) listed the wingspan as 27 mm.
Identification
Barnes & McDunnough (1912) stated "The white dots on outer margin of reniform and the dark patch opposite the claviform are characteristic."
