We thought this was going to be tortuosa but seems to have more color on the elytra so we gave up.

Blaine noticed that we had originally posted these incorrectly
as Arizona. Does it help now that we have corrected them to Texas?

probably not Z. malvae as the
probably not Z. malvae as the pronotum is not dark with metallic reflections. I'd go with tortuosa. As of the present, the host plant hasn't been published for this species and is certainly a composite.
