I thank you for your response I also found a photo of one just like mine after a few hours of searching. They said it was a White Lined Sphinx Moth just as you said as well. I had never seen one like this before very pretty moth. I gently bumped it's but and sent it on it way as I was going to mow my yard. another person said something about a humming bird moth, I don't know if that is a nick name or not. thanks again :)
