Host
I'm pretty sure that it is a conifer feeding species. I collected a female that night, but unfortunately it was pouring down rain and I killed her without checking the sex first, as I was just trying to get out of the rain. The mystery of this species is why is it so rarely found? M. virgata is pretty common in a lot of the SE AZ mountain ranges. Oh well, a project for next year.
