Carabidae: Pasimachus (depressus)? - Pasimachus
Catalina St. Park, Pima County, Arizona, USA
October 12, 2006
Size: ~30-35mm
Found this guy foraging in grassy patch along the trail, probably about 4500 feet. Think it may be Pasimachus and possibly species depressus? What ya think Jim?

Moved
Moved from Pasimachus.

Unsure of species out there
But it's definitely not marginatus, and does bear superficial resemblance to P. depressus. What others occur there?

Others occuring there:
This obviously incomplete list for Arizona includes P. elo*ngatus.

That's a Pasimachus alright.
Trouble is, I don't know the species of this genus any too well.
