Size: small, 5mm-ish
Observed on dense blazing star, Liatris spicata, in an interdunal wet meadow at Pinery Provincial Park. Pictures were taken around 6:20pm July 29 and 12:20pm July 30, 2013.

Species in this subgenus are not identifiable from photos, but in this case only one species is known from Pinery so I'm pretty confident calling this Geron vitripennis.
