Moved tentatively to A. subdepressus
There are two similar species in AZ; A. subdepressus and A. sericans (syn A. sericeus). Really need to see the underside (metacoxal plates) to separate them. The Santa Rita Mountains is the type locality for A. subdepressus.

Intriguing...will work on it more but may not come up with an ID without seeing the underside (esp. the metacoxal plate).
