Andricus crystallinus ? - Feron crystallinum

Andricus crystallinus ? - Feron crystallinum
1.7 mi. N. of Antelope Fire Control Station, Willow Springs, San Benito County, California, USA
August 27, 2013
Size: 9mm high
Found on leaf of Quercus douglasii. 36.66883°N, 121.02781°W; 3003 ft. elevation. I'm pretty sure this is Andricus crystallinus, based mainly on (1). Several of the Blue Oaks on our property had many of these galls on them, the tree that this gall is on had at least hundreds, perhaps thousands of these galls.
