Unknown moth and eggs - Eudryas grata

Unknown moth and eggs - Eudryas grata
Williamsburg, James City County, Virginia, USA
August 25, 2013
Size: About as long as a penny
Photo 2 of 2: I found a moth on the tennis courts at night. It was quite furry at the time and resembled a bird dropping. I brought it home and a few days later found these eggs on a dried leaf in its enclosure. I assume, but am not sure, it laid the eggs. The eggs might have been on the leaf when I put it in the tank, or may have been laid by one of 2 other critters in the tank: a female Black Swallowtail (which I suspect think would lay larger eggs) or a large millipede, resembling Narceus americanus-annularis-complex.
