Huckleberry Sphinx Eggs - Paonias astylus

Huckleberry Sphinx Eggs - Paonias astylus
Williamsburg, James City County, Virginia, USA
August 21, 2013
Size: tiny
Here are the eggs this Huckleberry Sphinx laid, with a US penny for size comparison. I have color corrected to provide as true a color as I can. I expect them to hatch within days and will feed then leaves from the wild blueberry bushes in my back yard. Assuming they take to them, I'll post pictures of them as they grow and pupate.
