Beetle - Phyllophaga bruneri Beetle - Phyllophaga bruneri

Moved
Moved from May Beetles. I imagine it must be P. bruneri, being from Florida and having this color pattern.

southern masked chafer?
Cyclocephala lurida? not sure... but its some sort of scarab beetle and this is my closest find...

doubtfull
I doubt it is a cyclocephala species (ie a dynastid). This guy has the shape and feel of a member of the Melolonthinae (may beetles/june bugs).

Phyllophaga sp.
heres Cyclocephala

many differences from your image - the emarginate clypeus alone rules out Cyclocephala

Florida also has several unique Melolonthine genera not yet in the guide.

Yes
maybe a may or june beetle.

too small
and too shiny for a may or june beetle. I would agree with southern masked chafer
