Evening Cicada - Neotibicen similaris

Evening Cicada - Neotibicen similaris
Ormond Beach, Volusia County, Florida, USA
September 1, 2013
Size: 2 inches total
Three photographs of this organism will be posted. This cicada landed on our back patio shortly after an evening thunderstorm. It was mostly content to chill on the tiled patio. I measured the cicada and it clocked in right at 2 inches total length (front of head to the end of the wingtip). My guess? Coastal lyric cicada, Tibicen lyricen virescens. I hesitate to tag it as such, though... Just don't know enough to be sure. Help would be appreciated!
