Ceraturgus aurulentus - female

Ceraturgus aurulentus - Female
Pilot Mountain State Park, Surry County, North Carolina, USA
August 27, 2013
Size: 12 mm (est.)
Since this is such a rarity, I'll add this shot showing the terminalia (male or female?--opinions solicited) and also, the very short proboscis.

Appears
To be female. The face and tiny proboscis were what made me think it could not be a Ceraturgus. Compare that beak with the other eastern species.
