Explanation of Names
Named in honor of prominent salticid expert, Jerzy Proszynski.
Tentative placement of Evarcha proszynskii images in BugGuide is based on the ranges given by Marusik and Logunov(1). It is possible they can not be identified from habitus images alone.[jb]

As provided by Marusik and Logunov(1):
Canada: Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, North West Territories, Ontario, Sasketchewan, Yukon Territory
United States: Alaska, California, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oregon, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, Wyoming.

Specimen record from Alabama is regarded as "probably mislabelled or switched"(1) (internal citation omitted), and therefore omitted from this list.

Also found from Russia to Japan in the Palearctic region.(1)(2)
