Bee on wild rose - Apis mellifera Lethbridge - Oldman River Valley, Alberta, Canada June 11, 2005 Size: 1.25 cm
There are around 35 species of honeybees in Alberta. I don't see any pollen sacs, and the markings are difficult to match up with the (huge) database of images. Help?
