Shield-Backed Bug - Stiretrus anchorago

Shield-Backed Bug - Stiretrus anchorago
Belchertown, Hampshire County, Massachusetts, USA
July 6, 2006
Photographed in a friend's garden. It's distinct markings may help in identifying it.

Moved from Shield-backed Bugs. Thanks Eric:)

Very nice image of an exceptionally 'white' anchor stink bug, Stiretrus anchorago. This shot will nicely complement the existing images showing the incredible variation in color patterns. Nice job.
