Spilomyia fusca ? - Spilomyia sayi - male - female

Spilomyia fusca ? - Spilomyia sayi - Male Female
Ely, St. Louis County, Minnesota, USA
September 5, 2013
Size: 2 cm (each)

Moved from ID Request.

Good ID to genus - Spilomyia sayi is the species.
The smaller - I assume male - has white stripes like S. fusca. The yellow stripes on the other are like S. sayi. However, the tipping point is the location and arrangement of the stripes, which are relatively evenly spaced on our winner, S. sayi.
