What kind of crab spider is this, and what about that parasitic mite? - Mecaphesa
Oswego, Oswego County, New York, USA

Size: 1/8 inch
Hi, can my good friends here on bug guide help me as usual (really always appreciate it!)

(1) What kind of crab spider is this by chance?
(2) There is a red parasitic mite on it. I would like to know more information about this mite, can anyone point me to some articles on this?
(or correct me if I am wrong.)

Thank you!
