Agonopterix argillacea? - Agonopterix

Agonopterix argillacea? - Agonopterix
Bridgewater, Lunenburg County, Nova Scotia, Canada
September 5, 2013
Size: 10mm long
Attracted to lights at night.

Moved
Moved from Moths.

Agonopterix argillacea has a squared-off, almost falcate forewing, which this moth does not have. The reddish cast suggests one of the Robinia feeders (robiniella or thelmae), but I don't know if it is real or a camera/lighting artifact.
