Endecatominae [no italics for suprageneric taxa, i.e. anything above genus] contain a single genus worldwide and are rather small cylindrical beetles that live in fungi and look very different:

This one was not small. At first I thought it was another Hide Beetle. It was about the same size if that helps any.
