determined via key from Downie & Arnett, does NOT match illustration from Dillon2 very well (Dillon2 usually has excellent and accurate illustrations), but does closely match the drawing in Epler, ftp://ftp.dep.state.fl.us/pub/labs/biology/biokeys/beetles.pdf

Your images are among the best I've seen (together with Jim's and Tom's)...I wish I could say that for my own..I'm working through my own collection from last summer at this time and have many unlisted species in the guide but I'm hesitant to post too many up (especially the small ones). =/
