This dragonfly is about 1 1/2" long, does not have a white face, and has a yellowish-amber color on the wings near the thorax.

Take a look at
Sympetrum semicinctum. One of the easier ones of the genus to identify once you know what features to look for. The solid amber wash to (or nearly to) the nodus of the wings and the dorsal markings on segments 8 & 9 of the abdomen. The amber wash of the wings may have a dark margin, or band.
