Moved from Unidentified Leaf Mines.
Nice, I've only found these in the Black Hills of South Dakota. The adults emerged this spring from mines I collected last September. Whenever I look at Potentilla in Massachusetts, I only see linear-blotch agromyzid mines of uncertain identity. I just had a male emerge a few days ago from a mine collected three months ago, so that mystery will be solved soon.
