March Flies - Bibio slossonae - male - female

March Flies - Bibio slossonae - Male Female
Woodford, Bennington County, Vermont, USA
October 19, 2006
These are so common, I never noticed the difference in head size between the genders.

Moved from Bibio.

Tentative ID
Likely Bibio slossonae; there is one more species I need to rule out but don't have a description of.

That'd be great if some of these flies were identified to species.

Moved from March Flies.
