Braun (1914) reported the wingspan of the holotype ♂ as 10 mm.
Range
Quebec, south to at least Kentucky.
Holotype ♂, Powell County, Kentucky.

Braun (1914) listed Quercus prinus L. (chestnut oak).
Life Cycle
Braun (1914) reported the larvae are leaf miners.
