Big n Plump female Spider - Araneus diadematus - female

Big n Plump female Spider - Araneus diadematus - Female
Outside of my house in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
October 19, 2004
This female ( I assume) hung out on my house for about a week. I have a much smaller (male I suppose?) spider's pics as well taken a week later. He hung out with her constantly then the next day they were gone. I just recently saw the female under my window sill protecting an egg sack. I will post the male as well. It would be nice to know some bio on these cool little creatures. Cheers!

Garden Spider?
Could be a Garden Spider (A. diadematus), or in the same family. Check out this pic:

...but I'm no Spiderman:)

Tis indeed! Cheers man. I wonder about its male counterpart?
