This is two separate shots of the [wasp(?)] taken seconds apart, as it moved between different leaves, combined using Photoshop to present both side views. The point of view is the same for each. I haven't done the math to determine the actual size.

Stilt-legged fly?
Just going on superficial resemblance, it might be a Stilt-legged Fly in the Family Micropezidae:

I agree with Chuck on the family, and
I think the semicircular wing markings make it specifically Taeniaptera trivittata (below).
